The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for the position of
Application Specialist. Primary responsibility is to collaborate
with campus departments on the installation, configuration and
maintenance of third-party and custom software.
Required: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
in computer information systems or computer related field and two
years experience using SQL and relational databases, preferably
Oracle or SQL server. Experience in the installation and
configuration of software applications. One year experience required
with a Master’s degree.
Salary is DOE; range $45,000 to $59,699; TIAA/CREF and other
retirement options; 24 days vacation annually; generous sick leave;
tuition benefits for self and family; no state income tax or FICA.
